Reserve location and set date for Used Curriculum
Fair. If a fee will be charged for using facility, seek approval from Steering
Committee. Arrange for tables, time to open for setup, etc.

Determine cost to participate; consider
portion of table proceeds to go to facility provider.

Publicize your event. Write up a news announcement and
submit to Communications Coordinator. Include: Event name, date,
time, location and directions, cost, RSVP date, if need to bring table, and
contact name, e-mail and phone number along with any other details. Send
announcement to local homeschool support groups and coops as well.

Keep
Steering Committee updated as to your progress and respond to all member
inquiries in a timely manner.

Enlist volunteers as needed.

Collect any fees charged and keep list of
expenses; submit to Treasurer for reimbursement. |

Plan to arrive early for setup and be responsible
for cleanup after event. |

Send thank you notes/e-mails after event to
facility provider as appropriate. |

Provide news article for CHESF monthly newsletter
with details of event. |
