The CHESF International Fair is open to
CHESF students Kindergarten through Grade 12. You may research one country
as a family project or each of your children may select a country and
prepare boards individually. We
want to do our best to avoid duplications. A database has been set up
on CHESFchatter for you to register.

If you haven’t
participated in an International Fair before, select your country, research not only the country facts and figures, but include its
culture, resources, tourist attractions and missionaries. There are
numerous resources at your local library and online; visit:

and Around the World

High School students may want to bring a
country display board to participate in the tour; during the time K – 8th
graders travel and collect information in their passports, the high schooler
may attend the student council meeting.
Come on March 8th
with the following:
(1) prepare a
project board to display along with items and pictures that you have
collected from that country. Your display may include a map with the
capital city, flag, religion, language, and any information that you
have learned: population, time zone, currency, climate, rivers,
mountains, native animals, foods, missionaries, historical facts, native
customs, etc.
(2) bring a small
(1” x 1” to 2” x 2”) stamp identifying your country. This stamp can be
a flag, famous landform or building, animal or something native to that
country. (We will let you know how many to copy as we approach the Fair
date.) We will give each elementary through middle school student a
passport to “travel” to each country, learn facts to record and glue the
stamp in their passport.
(3)
be prepared to speak
briefly to the group about your country or share one thing that you
learned.
(4) bring a snack,
dessert or beverage famous to your country to share during our
fellowship time.
You may come and tour the countries, even if you did not bring a
board.
Please RSVP to Carol so we have a passport for you.
Families whose name begins with A – M, please bring a dessert
and drink;
N – Z please bring finger snack and drink.
